My recent stay at Agriturismo Reggia Saracena in Agrigento was truly delightful. The charming setting, adorned with enchanting ceramic and marble figures in the residence, garden, and pool area, created a magical atmosphere that transported me to a different world. The 4-person room was ideal for my family, offering privacy with a dividing door, allowing the kids to sleep soundly while we enjoyed the serene surroundings. The deck and pool were fantastic additions, perfect for relaxing and unwinding.The owner, a passionate cook with a deep connection to his family house, was a standout highlight of our stay. His traditional, affordable dinners were not only delicious but also convenient, especially with a small baby in tow. The attention to detail in the rooms, with unique touches and classic furniture, added to the rustic charm of this Mediterranean-style property. The complimentary breakfast buffet was a great start to the day, although a bit heavy on sweet options for my taste. However, the dinner accommodations for vegetarians were outstanding and showcased the flavors of Sicilian cuisine beautifully. The stay was further elevated by the attentive service and the opportunity to explore outdoor adventures like mountain biking in the area.With amenities like a 24-hour fitness center, outdoor pool, and a terrace restaurant serving local cuisine, Agriturismo Reggia Saracena catered to both relaxation and exploration.
